From a very young I was very creative. I would take apart electronics and try to reassemble them. I created my own transformers from cardboard, and with the help of my dad built my first robot while in high school as a science fair project.
After graduating from A. R. Johnson Engineering and Health Science High School as the Salutatorian, I took my passion for creativity to Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Technology where I received dual degrees in General Science (Morehouse) and Electrical Engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology).
Later, I earned a M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and finally a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
As a PhD student I created a human gait recognition software application that recovered static body and stride parameters from video footage. Upon receiving my PhD, I worked at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Post Doctoral Fellow where I researched automatic activity-recognition methods to recognize what activities were occurring in a video-monitored environment.
In addition to my technical education, I graduated from Faith Christian Center's Faith School of Ministry in Smyrna, Georgia. After graduation I became a licensed Minister in the Word of Faith churches.
My Calling that God has given me is to help Christians start the business that He placed in their heart. I do this through the God Idea Lab, a business incubator for Christians to help them convert the God idea in their heart into a profitable business.
To round me out, I am married to April Johnson, and we have two daughters.
